early morning sneak attack

so my pal and i have an early morning routine. he wakes up, starts to chatter, then i go get him out of bed, change his diapy, then take him to the kitchen to get his milk and "coke-ies", which equals puffs. the other AM i was not quite awake and my best pal had his puffs open and upside down before i knew what happened.. i guess he was pretty hungry for his pre-breakfast snack! at least he is polite and tried to share.

the library

we went with grandma donna to the public library for the first time this weekend. my pal just loved it! there is a jeep, tons of books, a big play mat, and lots of kitchen toys. the perfect place for a rainy sunday. my best friend just loved it and now i think i need to get him some plastic food and silverware!

who's the boss?

i think you know.. my little pal runs the show. he thinks he is sooo big britchens.. here he is in dad's shoes with his own big boy spiderman electric toothbrush (thanks aunt mel!)

this independence leads to lots of head bonks.

he runs the show when mom's supposed to be in charge,

when dad's supposed to be in charge...

and if neither of us is around, he will do whatever he wants, including sitting in the dvd box.. he was actually stuck and i had to retrieve him!
