mama or dada?

dad is always trying to get mr. cope to say "da da". he's really sneaky about it. i have this theory that the whole way to work and back (about 30 min 2x a day) that dad is secretly working with mr. cope so he'll say dada first. i can't drive my pal to work in the mornings so i have to try to counteract this nonsense in other ways, such as buying the toots shirts that say i love mommy, or napping with my pal on the weekends, or even making the following agreement with cope:

cope has agreed that if he says "mama" first that he loves his mom the most. if he says "supercalafragilisticexpialidotious" first, then he loves dad the most. it's totally up to him.

my little pal LOVES his toys. this is pammy lamby. cope loves to snuggle her.
he also particularly loves anything that makes noise like his favorite blocks and his rattles.

he really really loves anything that makes noise when he whacks at it.

and his all time favorite toy is something that makes noise when he is trying to whack dad!

eat, play, sleep; revisited

we used to do eat, play, sleep as our "schedule"; just so we could keep track of what was next when mom and dad were sleep deprived. mr. cope still keeps that schedule somewhat, but it looks a bit different now!

4th of july

mr. cope celebrated his first independence day last weekend. mom had the day off so we had a good long weekend together. we went to a bbq at a friend's house and had a great time. cope was sizing weston up, but i still think weston could take him!
