my pal was hunting and found this bink the other day.. i guess since he's too little to drive a truck like dad he just had to carry his prey in his mouth!

growing up

my pal is growing like a weed.. he is learning so much! he is so interactive. he loves to read his books and he loves to play with mom & dad. ..

he can walk on his knees! (feet??? no.. just knees!)

and he is learning to feed himself. he's not very good at it but he tries really hard! he'll be a year old soon and i'm pretty sure it will break my heart. i want my pal to stay little forever.

cope's first christmas

my pal had a great first christmas. we spent christmas day in missouri. he really doesn't care at all about the presents, but he enjoyed seeing his family and playing with grandma donna's tree and his cousin atticus.

aunt mel got him his first pair of scrubs!

we spent christmas eve at home in georgetown and my buddy was not interested at all in unwrapping presents.

as a matter of fact, he left half way through the process.. here he is under the kitchen table in the next room!

we had a great christmas and we count our blessings every day. we are so lucky to have him.
